WildPosh to join Living Data 2025

WildPosh will join forces with leading projects and institutions in biodiversity research at the upcoming Living Data 2025 conference.

Living Data 2025 is one of the year’s most important international gatherings for biodiversity experts and stakeholders. The event will take place in Bogotá, Colombia, from 21 to 24 October, and will focus on four core themes:

  • Open data

  • Data integration

  • Biodiversity data application

  • Community engagement and capacity-building

A highlight of the conference will be the four-hour symposium titled “Long Live Biodiversity Data: Knowledge Transfer and Continuity across Research Projects.” This session will be jointly organised by Pensoft, LifeWatch ERIC, and the Naturalis Biodiversity Centre. It will explore the sustainability of scientific outputs as they are produced, shared, and reused across disciplines, institutions, and global initiatives.

On 23 October, WildPosh coordinator Denis Michez will hold a presentation titled Continuity in data management plan: examples of the Horizon projects PoshBee and WildPosh.
