WildPosh recently had the opportunity to present its project materials at the kick-off meetings of two newly funded EU projects - VALOR and AGRI4POL. In February, these meetings that took place in Reading (VALOR) and Brussels (AGRI4POL) marked the beginning of collaborative efforts to enhance pollinator conservation and ecosystem resilience across Europe.
Both projects share a common goal of supporting pollinators, but each brings a unique approach:
- VALOR unites interdisciplinary researchers, NGOs, and businesses to co-develop and demonstrate a systems-based approach to understanding, measuring, and responding to changes in the benefits that pollinators provide to society and the economy.
- AGRI4POL focuses on transforming agriculture from a source of pressure on pollinators to a positive force for managing and restoring pollinator biodiversity, enhancing crop pollination services, and delivering co-benefits to ecosystems and people.
By showcasing its materials at these events, WildPosh contributed to the growing dialogue on pollinator conservation and reinforced its commitment to fostering collaboration in the field.
